There are many licence types available under the Liquor Act 1992. The right one for you will depend on the nature or the ‘primary purpose’ of your business. They include:

  • Commercial Special Facility (casinos, airport, community centres and other significant tourism facilities)
  • Commercial Other (cabaret, restaurants, meals, catering facilities, bar licences and producer wholesaler licences)
  • Community Club (non - proprietary club, regulatory non-proprietary club)
  • Community Other (non - proprietary club - restricted trading hours)

  • Commercial public event (public events at location outside licensees main licensed premises)

  • Restricted area
